The Army & Airforce Exchange Service known as AAFES have successfully served the US military community since 1895. Burger King is one of AAFES’s supply chain partners operating at on the visiting US Forces Base, RAF Lakenheath. Burger King have undertaking a re-branding process and in conjunction with AAFES and DIO, have devised a programme to upgrade the Lakenheath Burger King site to bring the facility into line with the latest 20-20 brand and update the tired equipment, fittings and finishes.

Templeman Design were appointed to develop a design brief that consider the requirements of the 20-20 brand, to give the facility its much needed face lift and new equipment, whilst working within the limits of the existing structure, principle layout and client financial constraints.

This was progressed into a workable scheme, obtain all statutory permissions with development  of a multi-disciplinary design for construction.
